creepy creepy

where is everyone? i just woke up from a nap and everyone's disappeared. kate left while i was sleeping and shahrzad's in philly so the house is completely quiet. yeah, no music blaring loudly from anywhere at all. the only person online is wrct883. even the usual away msg kids are missing, there are three. one of them is esther and she's been away for 28+ hours so i guess that means she's away for the weekend too, which is too bad cause i was going to call her up today.
this is almost creepy in that apocalyptic sense. having seen Invasion of the Body Snatchers a few days ago doesn't help. i'm tempted to go stand out on the porch and make sure that there are still cars driving by with human beings inside instead of mindless zombies. or, check the basement for a giant seed pod. actually the basement is scary enough already during the daytime when there are people around so i really shouldnt have said that cause the image of a pasty white pod-person that looks exactly like me growing in the basement is scary. *whimper* i thought of turning on the radio but according to movies, that's just asking for trouble cause then when the scary pod thing comes to replace the real me, i wont hear it approaching until it's too late.
i just got a piece of email spam so that must mean everything is operating normally in the world. then again, spam auto-emailers would probably continue running even if their owner was lying dead next to it. i cant believe i just said that. this imagination thing is getting out of hand, methinks.
on the plus side of potential mass destruction, our DSL is moving pretty fast.
