happy happy

A. it's a beautiful day. sunny but not hot and not cold. the perfect non-temperature temperature.

B. for breakfast i had an egg and mozzarella sandwich on toasted wheat. it was perfect. the cheese was perfectly melted and fitted to the bread, the bread was perfectly toasted, and the eggs were perfectly fried. best sandwich ever.

C. got a phone call from matt h this morning, and mostly everyone is okay. they might be back tonight but things are still a bit up in the air because some people were hospitalized. still, it was tremendously good to hear from him. when i see those kids either later tonight or tomorrow, i am going to give each of them a great big hug.

anyhow, time to go waste this gorgeous day and watch movies in the Hunt basement for a couple hours. maybe the video collection people will be super nice and let me take the movies out here (sitting on the steps in front of cfa) to watch on Shiny's dvd player.
