"it's really human of you to listen to all my bullshit"
so today, as promised, Dimps and I ran around in New York. first going down to Canal St to look at miscellaneous crap being sold on sidewalks, then up to Herald Square to spend the afternoon shopping like rich idle housewives supporting a coke habit. (hmm, i should probably leave the colorful metaphors up to Tom Robbins..) i won't tell you how many hours, but i spent an average of $40 per hour. argh. then we rented Sixteen Candles, since neither have us have seen it in a while. turned out that neither of us remembered it at all, so i might actually have never seen it. but yes yes, it was soooooo cute. there was the most adorable teenage John Cusack. even younger than in Say Anything. i need to start a collection of cheesy 80s movies so that i can watch them over and over and know them all by heart.
Grandma Helen: Oh Sam, let me take a look at you. Fred, she's gotten her boobies!
Grandpa Fred: I better get my magnifying glass! Ha Ha Ha.
Grandma Helen: Oh, and they are so PERKY!
Herald Square material acquisitions (in order):
1. pink corduroy skirt
2. care bears tshirt
3. hot dog nuggets
4. denim skirt
5. black shoes with velcro!
ps. i'm sorry to all you people that i owe email replies to.. i havent forgotten, im just poooped.
