fireworks and more about boys
today, of course, was the annual town fireworks trip with the Dimpster, tooling around in her ten-shades-of-white 1985 Dodge Aries. we saw Erik! first in the parking lot before, then he and Dave and Dave walked right past us twice while we were talking to Shannon. Dimple told me the story of how in middle school one day in english class they were peer editing an assignment where we had to write letters, and he was editing hers. he noticed that she lived on Wenonah Ave and was like "Hey! I live really close to you, right on Calumet!" in a really excited way and she first started liking him then. we also saw him in the parking lot after, at the very last second before we left and oh he was so cute. i definitely think she should go over to this house one of these days and just, i dunno, just show up.
incidentally, this computer smells like it's burning liver.
tomorrow we're going to run around in New York with no specific goals.
technical notes (not very interesting to read):
also incidentally, this blog will be switching over to greymatter in the very near future. i've already got a new layout ready for yous, featuring Synthman from the Synthpop Goes the World website. but i will also need to fix the archives first.
