where the buffalo roam

so i'm home (in Parsippany). here's the game plan for the next week.

1. watch final game of World Cup (Germany vs Brazil) tomorrow morning at 6:30 am.


2. watch Solaris, borrowed from Antosha by way of Matt.


3. watch gabs of foreign/indie/art films in New York.


4. go to the Parsippany fireworks with the Dimpster on July 4 to make fun of high school kids, embarass her brother, and chill with her cool parents and assorted relatives/hangers-on.


5. buy a hat.


6. buy a wallet. maybe.


7. buy a denim skirt. maybe.


8. buy more socks. yes. maybe some sneakers with actual support and without holes. maybe.


9. finally fill out that dang lease application.


10. finally go to the dentist for a cleaning and checkup. not going in a year has forced me to actually buy several toothbrushes.


11. even more finally review those two CDs (the Dropscience and El Guapo) from that Q and not U show back in, uh, February?March?


12. get fat on oh-so-delicious-and-dearly-missed home-cooked meals.


13. check out following books from library: Ham on Rye, Bukowski; Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates, Robbins; The Unspeakable Confessions of Salvador Dali, Dali.
try to read at least one during week.

14. look for NJ memorabilia in the Newark airport on the way home (to Pittsburgh). you know, something that just screams "New Jersey is so great!" to wear around. it'll be funny.


15. not play Snood. no no no. bad addiction must stop.
