A few words from the Date Dictator
On the heels of Joel's recent question-mark tirade, here's a bit o' usage that's been bothering me for a while--abbreviating the names of months as one letter.
Unacceptable:
M20: March and May.
J20: January, June, and July.
A16: April and August.
Acceptable:
Fxx Unambigously refers to February.
Sxx See you in September.
Oxx Oh, you mean October.
Nxx No doubt November.
Dxx Definitely December.

When in doubt, three-letter month abbreviations generally provide comparable cost savings without sacrificing clarity.

So now that you're working at a bike shop, what would you recommend for a guy about 72" medium build who is looking for a everyday bike.

since you're tall, you will definitely want something at the higher end of the size scale. where exactly i don't know since i am much more familiar with the other end of the height spectrum. also, it depends on lots of other factors like what kind of riding you plan on doing, how much you want to spend, and how cool you want to look :) no matter what, getting sized and fit properly for your bike is the most important part! all the titanium crankbolts in the world are worthless if you're not comfortable, and a reputable shop will spend plenty o time making sure of that (like the one i work for, for example). hope this helps.
