today:

first shower at new place,
went to work for 90 minutes,
almost fell off bike (ow inner thigh) by slipping off pedal when starting up,
gov. ed rendell protest at university pl in oakland,
found two bouquets of orange roses in the trash at the craig & fifth pnc,
tram's for dinner with antosha and matt, where many golden-girls-type "old" ladies smiled at me for having flowers,
actually fell off bike after stopping at a red light (ow butt, but thank goodness for that child-bearing hip fat) and elicited the concern and stares of a 54C busload of people,
now...time to unpack. and do laundry. lots of it.
