White Car, 1987-2002

my friend Dimple has just informed me that her parents finally got rid of their white car, the 1987 Dodge Aries. this is a sad sad day. it was white with a red velour interior with a sagging ceiling. the outside was about 7 shades of white, from Dimple's dad patching the paint job but apaprently using a different bucket of paint each time. every time i opened the passenger side door it would make a loud pop as if a hinge had snapped and i would think i had broken it. after a while, the passenger side door didn't open at all, so i had to climb in from the driver side. one time Dimple parked it in front of my house and the neighbors across the street backed into it so they paid some money for the dent they made. i couldn't tell which one. to its credit, we never broke down once while we were in it. Dimple's dad says he would have given it to me for free, in which case I would have propped it up on cement blocks in the backyard. but alas it has gone to its junkyard fate, but we'll never forget you, white car.
