weekend in review

a week has passed by! felt like my life is flying by, while i worry about things coming up in the near future and forget to live in the present. but then the weekend happened, and things randomly fell into place.

friday: wrct show. Arco Flute Foundation, Mihaly, and Creta Bourzia were excellent. met Scott-Com (the Polvo-boy) and he seems like a nice kid but reminds me of certain other people in slightly negative way. too many crushes on people i've never met but whose music i adore. vowing to develop unhealthy crushes for other reasons for a change.

saturday: Atom and His Package show. Dana(of-newfound-MTV-fame)'s party. finally met Rob Cullen officially, as in he now has no excuse for not saying hi ever again. nice kid. next i tried to find Ed's party but forgot the number of his house so wandered around wilkins for a bit before giving up to go home. a car stopped in the middle of the street and the driver asked if i wanted to go smoke pot with them. figured that potheads are not likely to kill me, and went. turned out there were 3 members of Tabula Rasa there, since two of them live there. also present, two residents of the Beacon St house who had the sports hero party over the summer. it was Joe's 22nd birthday, and he was very drunk and quite high before he passed out on the porch. also nice kid. yay cmu interconnectedness.
