so the dj chick just came on for this station, and she is SO not not-high. smokin something or eating shrooms, i dont know what but she's whack. (glad i dont say that in real life, eh?) she mentioned that one of the "songs" just played was by the Taj Mahal Travellers, which according to the AMG, is classified as world music. now that's a genre i've always wondered about. what *isnt* world music? it's like calling it "music from this planet." dont get it but still listening. it's doing something that could almost be called upbeat now, with jangly guitars. oop, back to shrill alien squeaks. no lack of variety here, that's for sure.
