latest expenditure story: rewind to three or four weeks ago. saw safety pin skirt, wanted safety pin skirt, splurged on safety pin skirt. s.p.s. not in stock, saddened but "canceled" order in resignation. fast-forward to today. received shipping confirmation (oh that lovely phrase!) for said skirt. zug zug?? also noted the thirty-odd dollars yoinked from bank acct by other party. the proper course of action naturally would be to complain and return it for a much-needed refund but oh they know that once i see it and like it and wear it and hold it and love it, i'm gonna keep it and treasure it forever and ever those scheming bastards.
