a find: radio station! 91.1, but not that it makes a difference to my loyal but distantly dispersed readership. almost entirely instrumental. the sounds themselves make a subdued menagerie of unidentifiable atmospheric effects with traditional instruments like trumpets and violins featured center-stage in formless musical wanderings. i think a large part of its appeal to me right now though, is that it's continuous. no commercial breaks or dj interruptions, just an ongoing stream that you can simply let sit in the background, paying active attention to it when you feel like it. or not. it doesnt mind.
