bikey weekend 04!

Friday: hanging with the cool wrct kids playing music outside, while fixies and skateboarders did tricks to impress the ladies. then heading out to Critical Mass, of course, which took an unusual route through the three S's: Squirrel Hill, Sliberty, and Shadyside and ending at the Miller Gallery opening.

Saturday: Iron Lung alleycat, ending with PBR-soaked afterparty at the Peach Pitt. the actual inhabitants of the house seemed confused as to why a mob of kids with bikes had suddenly descended on their house but were unruffled. the one with a blue plastic mouth-powered keyboard/organ/thing launched into a stirring rendition of "Iron Man." click here for another picture. later that evening, at the WRCT spring concert, i met the winner of the race, Trevor, sporting his new messenger bag prize. though vegan, he didnt know that partially hydrogenated oils are bad for you. take care of yourself, dear readers, and remember to get out there and soak up some sun!

bonus: anthony's trackstand in video! i shot this on joel's new digital camera.
