remember the record store guy from High Fidelity who was a big jerk but made up for it at the end by singing that one song? yeah? ok. so lately he's been appearing everywhere, on TV, in Maxim, in movies, and even garnering a brief mention in Carol Hamilton's Baldwin class this semester so i guess he's a big star now because everyone seems to know who he is. (i am still somewhat confused because it wasn't until recently that i even realized that he was the guy from High Fidelity.) but anyway he was on Conan O'Brien tonight and suddenly it became clear:
