finding yourself talked about on other people's blogs is kinda gratifying and tantalizing in a fruitless way, when you don't read it until 3 weeks later. but hey i'm a compliment-whore i suppose. though on my end, i must apologize for the melodramatic-schnizzle posts of the last few months which have led at least one person to play the "is she talking about me?" game and be dreadfully mistaken.





in case you haven't heard, i spent this past week in New Orleans. good music: WWOZ and WTUL on the radio, random brass band on a street corner, Soul Rebels at Le Bon Temps Roule. damn good eats: Gumbo Shop and oyster po'boys and beignets. cute boys and cruiser bikes everywhere. like the Hello Kitty-customized one above. lovely sunshine and warmth every day. met Shelley of Chainbreaker fame (!!!) and got a copy of issue 2. good times. now back in New Jersey, where it's christmas eve and raining.
