Ravoux Way
according to the novum people, i am "a perfect specimen." other than sounding somewhat like a science exhibit, it's a marvelous validation. from their assessment which included a complete physical and bloodwork, this means that i do not have HIV, any STDs, anemia, or an addiction to cocaine. over the course of the next three weeks, i will be testing the absorption rate of hydrocodone. it is a narcotic, related to codeine and similar in effect to morphine. Grace gave me a high-five.
this summer thus far has been the perfect experiment in unemployed living. novum covers rent, and cmu user study experiments cover daily expenses. it may not sound like much, but once i took rein over eating out and buying stuff online, the amount of quality, healthy, and delicious groceries i've been able to buy has been a constant source of amazement to me. with this clean bill of health, i've been inspired to eat more fruit, intake enough calcium, and stop eating land animals. to while away the days i will be living at the clinic, i might also take up knitting.
the mulberry tree on friendship ave is heavy with fruit. every branch is cluttered with more dark, ripe mulberries than i can eat, though i've tried. my bedroom carpet is imprinted with a spotted trail of berry shapes tread underfoot.
