hello hello!
and we're back!
this has been Carnival weekend and it's been more fun than a box of hair. Friday was the big party hoppin night, including:
- Benefit show at Roboto, with fully five paying customers in attendance. i really enjoyed the Accident though. and after the showe, we took a gander next door where Free Ride is and saw *cue the heavenly music* the cutest blue bike in the window. but more about that later. (ooh typo, like "ye olde showe")
- after show, to the Planetary Robotics Building for the Tech-Art Gallery opening, at which i got miserably beaten at Pong by matttoups. and saw Adam Grossi freestyle. he was amazing!
- after freestyle, to the RCT show to catch the second half of Life in Bed and chuck raisin-box grenades at unsuspecting basement show attendees. heh heh heh. stared gratuitously at Neil Donnelly. this time, matttoups and i got our collective asses kicked at foosball by these two dudes. Volt was there, being somewhat shady. i am still wondering whether pothead Mark was there, cause i dont know what he looks like and he doesn't know what i look like, so i couldn't tell.
- after rct, down the block to Sleazy Mark's house, which included no less than 6 members of my techno-mythologia class. unfortunately, right after i got comfy sitting on JP's giant (ceramic) head, the party got busted by the cops. boo! upon exiting, we ran into Shahrzad and Chris Dewan though and
- proceeded to Ritter's which was packed, so ended up at Tom's Diner instead and ate. and ate. and ate. yay!
- and today, Sunday, matttoups and i hopped on the 67a out to wilkinsburg and got bikes! mine is a Schwinn Suburban, and based on a little google research, i think it was made in 1970. Devon said it looks very Jan Brady. i luvvvvv it, even if my butt is sore. oh, bike. :)
- next order of business: finding a milk crate to put on the back.
