in brief:
1. alkaline trio and hwm were kickass! jumped around like mexican beans, met cute-boy-with-emo-glasses with whom i danced on the stage during the last song and afterwards exchanged email addresses.. (we're all nerds, it's okay) but definitely way crazy fun.
2. cd release show: creta bourzia were my favorite, hands down. well-worth a hard earned $2 to get in, plus a $10 cd. just the right mix of punk-style rawkin and artsy-fartsy messing around spacey-like. especially loved that 20+ minute "song" with two drummers! yeah theyre THAT badass.
