two good-byes
went out to GSP for one last hurrah with the Dimpster, ended up spending more of my quickly dwindling hard-earned money on a pair of crazy plaid pants. on the way home, there was a major traffic jam on 80, during which we were dogged by and honked at repeatedly by some trucker, who might have been not-yucky (we're giving him the benefit of the doubt) on a more serious note though, at the end of the congestion, we passed what may have been a body bag lying in the middle of three empty lanes.. hopefully not, but general well wishes to the relevant parties.. and take care of each other, dear readers, i cherish all of you.
Dimple and I then bonded sitting on the curb in the Wendy's parking lot, eating baked potatoes and chili. gonna miss that girl, must try to keep in touch during school, gotta keep our excellent eight-year friendship streak going strong.
upon returning home, i was informed that Furball's family had finally come to claim him, so now there's only a big blank space by the bookcase where his cage was. even though i didnt get to really "say good-bye" (or, as much as one can to a guinea pig) i hope he enjoyed his last day with us, sitting out in the grass this sunshiney afternoon.

hooray for gratuitous obscenities!
the latest email from yellowratbastard features the no-nonsense subject line: "the fucking newsletter." gotta love it.
