Most modern rock fans these days seem very passive, forgetting bands from album to album. Why do you think Weezer fans have stuck with you through your long stretch of inactivity?

Welsh: I think they did a lot of drugs.
Wilson: Hell, yeah.
Welsh: It was probably the drugs.
Wilson: It was probably the absence of drugs.
Welsh: They're probably bored or doing drugs.
