they're aliiiiiiive!
it's all too clear now. the triops and shrimp that i spoke of a few days ago have hatched, so now the water is filled with itsy-bitsy teeny-weenie swimmy things. about the size of an apostrophe, i'd say. there's only three triops, but like a zillion shrimp. they're all whitish, with tiny fluttering legs propelling them around crazily. the more i look at them though, the more they seem like aquatic lice. it's kinda gross actually. last night one of the things i dreamed was that they grew tremendously huge overnight, to the point where we had to transfer them to a punch bowl. freakish.
