gratuitous hotness

i read Pride and Prejudice on Masterpiece Radio this Monday, and while poking around on the internet researching what music to play, i stumbled upon this picture of the illustrious Colin Firth / Darcy.
of course, i couldnt just paste it up here for all of you drool over without relevance so i am proud to just as accidentally stumble upon a Relevant Story today which merits its posting:
while browing the bookstore, i noticed that the white tabs for my 76-339 class, Advanced Studies in Film and Media, had been put up since the last time i'd been in there. curious as to what the reading would be, here's what they said...
  1. Emma, Austen

  2. Mansfield Park, Austen

  3. Sense and Sensibility, Austen

  4. Pride and Prejudice, Austen

  5. Northanger Abbey, Austen

  6. and..
  7. Bridget Jones' Diary! (not by Austen but just as good)

and because this is a film class, we will most certainly watch all the movie adaptations as well, hopefully the version of P&P with Mr. Firth. the prof is female, so i'm sure she's as in love with him as the rest of us, right? this may just be the best class ever.
