annoyance

it really bugs me when, if they don't like particular music i like, someone just writes them off as "who is this? this sucks. this is horrible" etc, REPEATEDLY. it's something *i* like, and probably hold in high regard and it's probably (more importantly) important to me because it's a common bond between me and friends i care a lot about, and it reminds me of them or good times with them or whatnot. i mean, there is plenty of stuff out there that i dont like, but i respect the fact that for someone out there, it fulfills what they're looking to get out of music, which could be no more than something fun and catchy and that's fine with me. i mean, they dont know what they're missing (in my opinion) but i'm not going to look down on them for it. sheesh. im probably taking it too personally but i cant help but be annoyed, you know?
