A Domestic Day with Dimple (posting attempt #2)
Spontaneous but productive and mother-instinctually satisfying. After my finally getting out of bed at quarter to two, i get a phone call from the dimpster and an invitation to leave the house. yes! so we head out to kmart on dimp's mascara mission which is unfortunately fruitless. next up to shoprite (grocery store) for frosting but end up purchasing two packages of muffin mix and some chicken as well. brief photo session in the produce section with my happy lunchbox. back at my humble abode, a lovely backyard soiree was enjoyed by all (okay, both) as we basked in the spring sunshine and feasted on fine chicken. the baking of chocolate chip muffins and banana nut muffins was next, and naturally, more eating ensued. dimp then left for the mall with her peeps, but me still on this domestic kick, proceeded to wash dishes, pick green beans, cook rice, and chop shrooms. the strawberry and chocolate cupcakes will have to wait for another day. like tomorrow.
